Symantec’s marketing department needed a way to enhance their traditional print media. Not only did they need to get critical content on the user’s desktop, but they needed it to work in both on and offline modes, include rich media, and interactive charts. The application also needed to be robust and extensible, while maintaining the same visual quality of the print magazines.

We accomplished this goal by creating native iOS, Android and desktop applications from a common codebase, and connecting it to a bespoke desktop application content management system via a custom API.

The new application allowed Symantec to publish their traditional print magazines on mobile devices, and includes features that print media could not provide, including insightful graphs, interactive image galleries, and even video.
